Granted – the sub-zero temperatures played a part in this decision. But equally for the simple reason that it meant it would be socially acceptable for me to wear the thickest accessories under the sun (wherever that might have disappeared to) for the next week…

 

Let’s face it everyone – it.is.freezing at the moment but this seems to be made okay just simply by the fact that three weeks today it will be Christmas!

 

When you think about it, Christmas wouldn’t actually be Christmas without hats, scarves and gloves. After all – wrapping a tea towel around a snowman’s neck doesn’t quite have the same thrill to it as a chunky knit scarf! 

And I can categorically say that almost all of us will be un wrapping our presents to find another hat and scarf combo – Winter Warmers are about as standard a present as a bag of chocolate coins and a pair of socks!
